I sometimes feel really annoyed at people who change to satisfy other people. It's like selling your soul. Like, some people, musicians for example, they work hard to make it in the business, and they make a name for themselves, and their initial goal was to express themselves through music, but once they get a taste of the fame and money, they just lose grasp of that and focus on staying current and popular, and changing into something generic and it's sad to see genuinely good artists becoming sell-outs.
Even in other things, like writing, you shouldn't write what other people wanna read, if they wanna read what you write, they'll read it, you don't write it primarily to attract them, you write what you wanna write. But at the same time, don't waste your time writing stupid shit that nobody cares about and just makes you look like a self indulgent idiot who wants to impress. It just looks pretentious and retarded. I don't even remember what my point was with this.
Anyway, I'm tired and annoyed at the stupidity of the world, as usual. :/
tl;dr, I hate seeing people who are coo' at first, then sell out and become lame. Makes me sad.
